Hi @strongerbones Forteo pen is not adjustable. I tried with a used Forteo pen with leftover doses once.

When you load the pen with a dose, you could hear numerous clicks, however you could only load with a full dose in order to deliver a dose.

As you deliver a dose by pushing the plunger, you could also hear many clicks, but they are not calibrated to any corresponding fractional doses.

Every other day dosing with Forteo is a strategy some endos use for people who are sensitive to this drug. Hope you get adjusted to it in no time!

Adding on to confirm that you can't adjust the dose. I once discovered I completely missed a dose by not pulling the plunger out completely until I saw the red line. When I injected myself, no medication was injected. I didn't discover this until the next day and thought my pen was defective. The insert mentions this issue and how to reset the pen.

Thanks so much and what you expressed is exactly what the pharmacist told me. I’m starting next week. I am hoping I will do well. I appreciate the input you gave me.
