i am familiar w/using your blood for the eye issues as my optometrist suggested that; it sounds like you have/had something different in terms of how dry your eyes are...mine now gush and water and i've tried all eye drops; think a few mo. ago i had temporary eye plugs put in but with the post covid brain fog, i can't remember if they helped or not. i see the optometrist next week. many many yrs. ago i had bleph surgery which i believe was the main reason why i have dry eyes as eyelids don't close completely while sleeping but i think the virus has definitely affected my eyes as well as so many other body parts. so happy you're getting relief finally.

Viruses love eyes. Nice warm wet cozy environments. Now that you folkd mention it, I've had increased eye irritation and dryness since COVID.

Back to basics: I went and got a jar of boric acid and an eye cup. I mix the powder up with good clean, pure water (distilled or most bottle probably OK) as directed and rinse the eyes - feels strange at first but oh, so good later.

Read the labels on the eye drops packages: The ingredients most likely include boric acid.
