First lets see if there's any evidence you have paralytic ileus because I'm not spending time in random conversation. If you have had anything resembling a normal bowl movement with turds longer than 2 inches and not accompanied with a watery discharge in the last 10 days - you do not have paralytic ileus (PI).
If anytime you can feel a comforting Peristalsis - a series of involuntary, wave-like contractions of the muscles in the digestive tract that propel food and other substances along the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. ) - you do not have PI). Best, EF

I need to amend my previous comment - in that over the past month, I have have defecated a single turd that was 3 or more inches long several times after an unusual several days without defecating or using a laxative. Once I passed a full turd over 4 inches long after 3 days without defecating or laxative. So my previous comments regarding stool size were inaccurate - sorry.
