I’ve been to numerous doctors and can’t get any answers for what is happening in my body. I’m in severe pain in my joints and muscles. My blood work comes back normal which is good but also bad because I’m not getting any answers and I’m getting worse. I can barely get out of bed and walk in the morning and to get in and out of the car is extremely difficult. The blood work that came back high was the MCV AB 63 high. My primary care doctor doesn’t know what that means and referred me to a neurologist but can’t get in to see her for 6 months. What else can I do to find out what is going on ?

Welcome @kbromwell, Sorry you haven't been able to find any answers yet. From what I've read a high MCV AB level can be associated with rheumatoid arthritis .

"What is MCV ab?
Mutated Citrullinated Vimentin (MCV) Antibody - Anti-mutated citrullinated vimentin (MCV) antibody is one of several specific anti-citrullinated protein antibodies which may be used as a second-line marker of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), in addition to rheumatoid factor and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP)."

Have you considered seeing a rheumatologist?

Were you given a trial of low dose prednisone?
