I have been using Trelegy for over three years. It seems to help me more than anything else I’ve tried. The “rescue” inhalers didn’t seem to help at all.
I’m 79 years old, have late stage COPD, had the Zrphyr valve procedure done twice, in 2022 & 2023, with six valves in right lung & seven in left lung. I experienced no improvement, by 45% of patients do not.
My last pft1 was 34%. I try to stay active &, while using a cylinder providing 4 liters/minute, I try to walk a mile once a week.
When sitting still reading, etc., I’m able to breathe without supplemental oxygen, but any exertion at all requires 3-4 liters/minute.
I’m on the 100 mcg Trelegy; there is a 200mcg available, but my pulmonologist told me that it is as for Athena patients only.

Not Athena, but asthma patients!

I have used Trelegy 200 for 20 months. Diagnosed at stage 4 emphysema mid June of 2023. I don’t have Asthma. ( I always send some kind of photo )

I am 83 with COPD and I was on trelegy for a few months but the third ingredient for the improvement caused violent coughing, and I had to stop. Breztri now and beginning the third year and everything is much better for me.
