In the early stages, my brother would cry. Once while in Dr waiting room he sobbed for 45 min, while I held him and told him it would be ok. I never saw him cry before. I asked the Dr, who said sometimes there are moments of mental clarity that can trigger such a reaction.

@1995victoria I too have witnessed my husband crying every so often and understand exactly what the Dr. has said about mental clarity. I have always think my hubby is having a moment of clarity too because when I ask him what is wrong or how I could help him, he would burst out through his tears " I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING" or "I CAN'T DO THINGS ANYMORE OR REMEMBER" and each and every time he says that, my hearts just breaks!! I console him by holding him and/or softly rub his back and tell him "you're right, you didn't do anything wrong but there's still alot you CAN do" and those words seems to calm him down for the most part but it does sometimes take several minutes for him to stop and then soon after I don't think he recalls all that crying.
