Sounds like you are doing everything right, but can not answer question about 70 oz of fluid being to much. Check with your care team if more then 64 oz is OK.

Do you care to share with group the type of clear liquid protein drinks you are using?

Good morning, These are the 2 CLEAR protein drinks I been using during my 1st 2 weeks of post op.
ISO pure, Protien2O.
I am staring full liquids tomorrow . I walk daily and increase a little each day.
In all, the surgery itself went great. I was surprised on how tolerable the pain was.
