periodic jaw and teeth aching
I have had tooth pain in most of my teeth for the past 7 years which started as aching after eating to stinging, now half my jaw will start aching in the middle of the night. Several dentists have said they find nothing wrong with my teeth. I use the prescription fluoride toothpaste which may or may not be helping with some of the stinging.
I have small fiber peripheral neuropathy and wonder if there could be a neuropathy affecting my jaw but can't find anything on the internet except trigeminal neuralgia for which I don't meet the criteria. Anyone else experience this or have any ideas?

I was a dental assistant for 35 years. Could you be clinching or grinding your teeth as you sleep?
Trigeminal neuralgia is like electrical shock nerve pain. Also called Tic Delaroux.
One of the only identifiable symptoms of Lyme Disease, is teeth ache! I have suffered from it for 6 years. John Hopkins did a study of it that came out a couple years ago!
Pt then causes severe headaches. I take Oxycodone three times a day! Sometimes it helps other times no!
Go in a research Lyme Disease! I just fired my PCP because he said Lyme does not exist, because some infectious disease doctor said it doesn't exist!

Also look into migraine-related syndromes. I was diagnosed at 67 after a lifetime of headaches that aren’t what most people think of as migraines. I thought it was sinus pain until an ENT said otherwise. I had never heard of anything like it but it covers all my symptoms. Now to find a neurologist who knows what it is. Anyone else have this?
I had trigeminal neuralgia after a couple years of indeterminate tooth pain and bite adjustments. It turned out it was a hairline fracture in the tooth. It turns out they can't see it in the xrays until the fracture gets large enough or it breaks! (which happened in my case). I went to both dentists and doctors. Once the teeth (I had two) both broke and the other, the fillings dislodged - all the pain for 3 years STOPPED dead when the teeth came out. Keep at it.
