Starting Orgovyx - how long for side effects to occur?
I've been taking Orgovyx for about 3 weeks and so far have zero side effects: no hot flashes, no fatigue or tiredness, no weight gain, no ED, nothing. I'm not complaining, but I'm on pins and needles waiting for stuff to start.
For background, I am in good shape and very active, I've been running for years and run 4-5 days a week, 30 - 35 miles, and also resistance train 2-3 days/week. I have no idea if that's what's doing it, but I'd be doing it anyway.

Keep up the exercise. I was doing cardio at the gym 5 days a week, lifting 3 days a week, and walking 18 holes of golf twice a week. I had purposely lost 7 pounds prior to starting O and only gained 2 of that back.
Been on Orgovyx for 6 months. No apparent side effects except for occasional fatigue. I've been exercising and weight training 7 days a week without difficulties. Blood work in a few months will indicate if my blood lipid profile, CBC, A1C, etc are still normal.
I had my prostate removed almost three years ago. PSA began rising after about two years. I have been on Orgovyx since April 2024, with very few side effects other than my golf drives don't go as far. My oncologist is recommending I take a break from the drug while on a cruise and then a golf trip to Scotland restarting it again in about 6 months. He is "almost" certain my PSA numbers will again begin to rise again from < .01 after I stop taking Orgovyx. He is such a pessimist, but I know he is probably correct.
Thoughts???
You must be one strong human being, having your prostate removed 3 years ago, very few side effects from Orgovyx, and mastering that dastardly game of golf! A PSA reading of less than .01 is virtually undetectable for the presence of PSA. I would probably take a break from Orgovyx and have another PSA blood test within 6 months. I've been quite adept during my life playing baseball, basketball, football, tennis, and racquetball. Golf was harder than Stochastic Mathematics or Topology college mathematics classes.
You don’t mention salvage radiation as part of your treatment. Any reason you did not have it?

Phil:
I had my colon removed and replaced what is referred to as a J-Pouch. Consequently doctors don't want to give me radiation because it could cause damage to the pouch.

Damn…I’ve heard that from another forum member as well…hang in there, bud.

My six months Orgovyx has ended 2 weeks ago. Still have strong hot flashes, some muscle joint. How long this will take? Ill exercise 3-4 times per week, skiing or icehockey. Those two will end in two months because of summer. There is not much sun to bath, so how I should get my testos back? Magnesium, sun, d-vitamin? Something else? Ill try to get my penis also working after six m adt and 33x Radiation. 2,5y ago had RAPL.
It can depend On your age. It shouldn’t take more than a few months to get a lot of your testosterone back. You could get a blood test and see where your testosterone level is.
You can always get testosterone injections, but better to let it or return normally.
I’m a month out from finishing ADT and the hot flashes are worse than while on Orgovyx….weird.
No supplement is going to bring your T back - short of T injections and you definitely don’t want those! I’m just gonna wait for it to happen.
