Topical Magnesium Lotion for Feet
Yesterday I had an Integrative Medicine doctor encourage me to try rubbing a topical Magnesium ointment on feet, saying she’s heard it’s an anecdotal remedy for neuropathy feet, especially if they feel like you’re walking on gel pads or bubble wrap and may feel wobbly for balance (not pain). I’m never opposed to trying anything at reasonable costs if it seems to have merit, but while I’m googling where to find it, I thought I’d throw it out to this group and see if anyone has tried it and what results they think they got from it? Thank you 🙂

I use Sweet Bee Organics magnesium butter at night before bed on my feet and lower legs. I find it very soothing and comforting. I also use a CBD Relief Balm by Earthbound Remedies 6000 mg full spectrum CBD. And Deep Blue by Doterra. All help take the edge off.
I have tried coconut cream it stops the. itching.
Has this cream actually helped you? My PC is reluctant to send it in because I am already on oral baclofen. I am going to ask her if she will consider leaving the baclofen out of the mix.
Thanks again!
The only reason bacoflen is in my cream I can’t take it orally. It makes me feel like I have the flu. When I take it it’s the cream no problems. I oral muscle relaxer is Soma 350 mgs.
I read about using topical magnesium on feet and so I thought that I would try it as even the lyrica abd ropininrole didn't help with the PO I s and needles in my feet. Also don't really understand why it comes on at night only. But as the magnesium spray that I ordered from Amazon was cheap I thought that I would try it. So yes it actually helps when nothing else worked. The spray is oily but when massaged into soles of feet and in between toes it does work. I didn't know that there was a prescription magnesium available. I might call my doctor and ask for it. The spray doesn't absorb well and so sometimes I have to apply and massage twice before relief. Again great tips found on this site for common complaints with pn.
Try Mama Bear Oasis cream. A little expensive but I found it to work great and it has a fragrant smell and lanolin like texture.
