I have FMD and went on short term disability at age 45 after strokes. Rest is most important for me to heal and try to work again. The anxiety is real tho.
Hi, @tonyakimb. Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I'm truly sorry to hear about the passing of your father and your heart attack due to the stress. My father died in 2022, and I can relate to feeling stressed around that time. I also felt like I was going around in a fog for about 8 weeks.

Glad to hear you have the diagnoses of spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) and fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) so you know what you are dealing with.
What makes you most worried about going back to work, tonyakimb?
