What makes you to stay on Orgovyx continuously for 5 years without taking a holiday?

Good question and will be following.

Last I heard, ADT holidays aren't indicated yet for advanced (stage 3/4) castrate-sensitive prostate cancer. In the studies I've seen, we were the only group who had worse outcomes from those holidays.

New research findings might change that recommendation, of course, but my concern is that if I took an ADT holiday, when my stage 4 cancer comes back it might have evolved castrate resistance.

I stayed on Lupron for seven years and Orgovyx for 9 months after. I have BRCA2 and it causes my PSA to rise if I even reduce drugs. I stopped taking it only because my testosterone will probably not come back after having been suppressed for eight years. If it does start to come back, I go right back on Orgovyx.

I have been symptom free from the cancer for 15 years, It’s worth taking it to stay alive.
