As you apparently learned, some doctors do not like suggestions from their patients. I'm glad you were proactive. My levels got MUCH higher before the implant provider told the surgeon to have me tested, and even after replacement, I have had many years of secondary effects that will never go away.

Well, you see, my wife had a total bilateral to start on, fractured pelvis from being dropped in the shower at rehab but the could not do anything about it because the femur nerve in her left leg had either been severed or compressed, waited 9 months and it started to come back to working, so, they did the revision the Right hip. The surgeon declined testing for the two compounds but the primary kept doing the test and it kept going up, so, in 2018 the did the revision on the left hip and the levels dropped a little over a year and half and then started going back up and that is when the re-did the right for the third time. We had them checked again about 6 months ago and down to .03; which is in the normal range. However, this stuff was in her system for over 10 years, god only knows the true damage that it has caused! For a while her short term memory got real bad. Now she knows it all, so I guess that is better! A little laughter there!!
