I did this combo starting over a year ago and am still taking the pemetrexed every three weeks. My stomach bothers me occasionally but not bad, not enough to affect my eating. It does make me a little tired and can take a while to get going on something, but usually when I get moving and start moving enough that kind of goes away. It doesn't seem to be as bad as some of the other chemo regiments out there. I do have high liver enzymes which could be the pemetrexed or Tagrisso my doctor tells me, but I think this is not a common side effect.

That is so helpful and hopeful for us. Thank you for all of your help.

@codym I have been Tagrisso for six years, but it now looks as if I may need to go into a clinical trial or have the exact same chemo regimen that you have had. So, have you continued on Tagrisso through the chemo? My oncologist has indicated that I would not stay on it once I start chemotherapy
