I have DNR on my medical records, I never was given a card or anything to carry. Should I ask my primary about that?.

Yes, Lilly, if you want the order to be followed at home or when you may be out in the public.
Without clearly visible proof of it on your person, any EMS, health care provider or other intervening person in an emergency would proceed with needed care to resolve the apparent medical issue... including CPR, intubation, etc.

@lily71 I wear a medical alert bracelet almost all the time. One the back of it includes the DNR, plus the POLST copy in my car.

For me, it's very important that my medical team and anyone else who is in contact with me, understands my wishes. It might seem macabre to some, but not to me.
