Sure. A simple dental cleaning is generally considered safe for individuals with an aortic aneurysm, but it’s always best to check with your cardiologist or surgeon beforehand. The primary concerns are infection risk and potential blood pressure fluctuations during the procedure. If you’re on blood thinners, there may be a slightly increased risk of bleeding. Some doctors recommend antibiotics before dental work if there’s concern about infection affecting the heart or aortic repair. Always consult your medical team for guidance. Peace.

Just as an adder, I know from personal experience that normal dental cleaning is safe for aneurysms, but not necessarily for those with BAVs, I know its not the same thing but it is not uncommon to have both (like me, and I have read multiple cases in this forum, it is known BAVs make people more prone to developing aneurysms). BAVs are very susceptible to infections and I have been instructed by my cardiologist to have antibiotics before every dental cleaning. I have been fortunate I have never needed mayor dental work, never had a cavity, but my dentist gives me a prescription for antibiotics which I have to take 1 hr before every visit, it is well known among Dentists too
