I agree with Sondra’s response. The scans should be done on the same machine for comparison. Also, your doctor should be looking at bone markers for the complete picture. I have had two Reclast infusions with a follow up Dexa scan and follow up blood work for bone markers. My results improved in all areas and my endochronologist advised me that I was able to take a break from the Reclast temporarily. I have more bloodwork scheduled in May to see where my bone markers are at. The bone scans were done at the same facility utilizing the same machine. My understanding is that to get a clear picture the same machine should be used. Keep asking questions and good luck going forward.

Did you have any adverse reactions to your Reclast infusions? And how many years will you be on it? Thanks so much.

I am going to take Reclast as well, and would like to know about adverse reactions in your case, as well. Thanks.
