Gabapentin and ED

It's a common side effect for both GabaPentin and Pregabalin. IIRC about 40% of patients on PreGabalin experience it. I would say the effect is stronger with PreGabalin. Seems like it can almost turn you into an emotionless blob.

So you to decide which is better, the therapeutic value or the decline/loss of libido and related things. For me it would probably be unbearable without it.

Without the gabapentin, or libido?

And, even with low dose?

I don't use GabaPentin. I have in the past [3 x 600mg per day] but got as it really wasn't helping. I'm on 3 x 75mg per day of Pregabalin. I need the relief that it brings as I have other issues that affect my health also.

Here is some information about gabapentin and libido. Depending on what you are diagnosed with and why you were prescribed gabapentin in the first place, you may want to review current symptoms and medications with your doctors and pharmacist to see if adjustments can be made to reduce side effects while properly treating your symptoms/conditions.

Not that I could tell tho my anxiety is what you would call situational.

My husband was given Gabapectin when he fractured his back, I was scared to death when I couldn’t wake him up. I have heard the same from many friends who say this.
