What are your experiences with tramadol ?

I have posted about duloxetine before. I was hospitalized for 3 days in 2018 and 5 days in 2019 for side effects of the drug. The first time was for serotonin syndrome and the second for low blood sodium. It made me feel "strange". I would just fall for no apparent reason. I haven't fallen since I finally kicked Cymbalta. It was VERY difficult to wean off of it. I have had negative reactions to many drugs that my friends take successfully like gabapentin and Lyrica. My doctor decided just to prescribe low dose (2mg) valium and hydrocodone as needed. This has been working well for me. I also had a bad reaction(severe panic attacks) to Prozac when it first became popular. I prefer to stay with the older meds with lots of history.

I agree with you! Cymbalta and Lyrica are not helpful to me. I have had bad reactions from taking both and will remain with tramadol. Many Doctors are so afraid, that they are telling you to take extra strength Tylenol after procedures. I only take maybe 20 tramodol in a 3 month stretch, but it helps in bad days!
