Osteoporosis is confusing to most, so don’t worry. Just keep asking questions and doing research.

If you have a dexa on different machines, you will not be able to compare them, “apples to apples” , as the machines likely will not be calibrated the same way.

Even on the same machine, there can be errors in how the technician positioned you, affecting the results. It’s just my opinion, but I don’t think Dexa is the best predictor of fracture and it doesn’t provide a picture of bone quality.
Your doctor should order bone turn over markers before, during, and after treatment, to know if the treatment is working.
CTX will show the bone breakdown and P1NP will show bone building.

You can ask your doctor about these tests.

I believe my last test was a CTX but at a different location. Thanks for the info and I will be doing another one at the same location so we can compare them and I will talk to my doctor
