I have those issues as well. I make vaginal suppositories using a candy mold, coconut oil, boric acid, and tea tree oil. The coconut oil is highly soothing and moisturizing, boric acid balances the vaginal flora and fights yeast, and tea tree balances the vaginal flora and kills bacteria. The relief is instant, and it is safe enough to use daily.
1/2 cup unrefined organic coconut oil
1 Tablespoon boric acid powder
15 drops pure tea tree oil
Melt the coconut oil by placing the jar in a bowl or pot of hot water. If you live in a hot place, it’s probably already liquid.
Add tea tree and boric acid to the melted coconut oil and mix well.
Pour your mixture into a silicon candy mold – but you can also use a little tin-foil boat if you don't have a candy mold, except you can slice them up once they are cooled, as the pessaries will be solid. Put the mold into the fridge to harden.
You can use it up to four times per day, keeping in mind that the bigger the piece you insert, the bigger the mess when it all melts inside your vagina. Using a panty liner can solve this. I use mine at night immediately before getting in bed.
Thank you, this makes sense, but it is so messy. My doctor want me to avoid panty liners and instructs me not to wear underwear to bed. I am annoyed at the greasy stains some of these ointments cause on my clothes. Any advice to avoid that? Probably not, but relief comes with a price, I suppose.
