Sometimes sudden changes or new symptoms are triggered by another problem (uti? Medication? Flu? Pain?) Use your PCP to troubleshoot. For the delusion or hallucination, take steps to ensure their/your safety. Then calmly and gently enter their reality to help them through the moment.
