I made an earlier post. You have experienced ongoing trauma. Your brain and nervous system can cause fight flight fear fawn die to release of adrenaline nor epinephrine cortisol etc. The amydala of the brain is in charge instead of the cortex. I am a trauma survivor. I have ptsd. Ibwas coded in a hospitalization for a serious illness. PTSD is not limited to war zones or what happened to me.

Yes but in my case I don't believe it has risen to PTSD. I believe I have "temporary post anxiety". Today I went out to the store and when I was coming back where I go into the apartment complex I got a little anxiety and consciously I thought "Wow. I can't believe this happened here but now it's over. This place even looks different now. Friendlier. Calm.".

When I got to my building I glanced around a little nervously but not anything like when the men where still here. I actually fell once carrying groceries one time because the fear caused me to be clumsy (and I not that kind of person). That will never happen again and as I indicated, I think I will be fine in a few weeks but I will seek treatment if it persists.

You seem to know how to exercise a good degree of control over your condition. I wish you a full recovery.
