I can understand some of what your husband has gone through. I was born with an exstrophy of the bladder. They did extensive work on me as a child and I was able to live without concern until about 15 years ago. I recently had a reversal of surgery and now wear a urostomy. I have had several bouts with obstructions and now am cautious of what I eat. Again, along with your husband I take may pills to assist with bowel movements. I'm now facing another surgery based upon what they see i images. I'm concerned with what i read about having this done. I live in an area of the country where i feel I'm juts a "LAB EXPERIMENT" for doctors trying to learn ways on moving forward. I really want to connect with a group of medical professionals that can give me a very objective opiion.
