@rebel56

I have NASH Cat. 3 and taking Rezdiffra 80 mg. I'm watching my diet, and I am a Type 2 diabetic taking Ozempic 1 mg due to the fatty liver and sugar. How long do you think, and what Category of fibrosis do you think I can get my liver back to?

@rebel56, Good Morning and Welcome to Mayo Connect. You are askin g a very good question. I think that it one that everyone has asked during their journey with a liver disease diagnosis. In all reality, I wish that I knew what to tell you, but I'm just a patient. I hope that you are being monitored by doctors who have some experience with liver and diabetes and who willing to communicate and coordinate your care.
After I was diagnosed with my particular liver disease, I was lucky to be under the care of a gastroenterologist (GI) who had experience with liver disease and had a close professional connection with a liver specialist. I had routine appointments and routinelabs to monitor my liver progress and to adjust medications. Healthful lifestyle was always a primary emphasis, along with avoiding over-the-counter medications/supplements, and avoiding alcohol.

Rebel56 - How long have you been aware of the NASH diagnosis? What are your doctors saying about a reversal fo the fibrosis?
