my neuropathy began in 2018.
The medical community, Rutland Regional Med ctr, Dartmouth, and Mass General have no clue what caused it and how to fix it. I have tried every pain med available without any improvement. There is a new med coming to the market call Journavx. It is a non-opioid. My Doctor at Dartmouth wrote a script for me and it is not yet available. He does not know that it will not be available for chronic conditions and will cost $600. per month

@richcinvt I started on Journavx as a pain relief for knee replacement surgery 11/1. I also started gabapentin at the same time to try and relax my neuropathy during recovery. Unfortunately I experienced the 10% side effect of the gaba- jerky muscle spasms- as well as gut issues (I have IBS on top of everything else). I don't think the Journavx really helped, but there are coupons to lower the price if you want to try it.
