Hi! @amk0402 . My Ki-67 was 30%, ER and PR were above 90%, and HER2 was negative. My Oncotype score was 20.

Based on the Oncotype result, my oncologist and I decided against chemotherapy. The test placed me in the mid-risk category, with a 6% probability of recurrence—possibly slightly higher since I’m 44, and younger age can be associated with more aggressive cancer. However, the benefit of chemotherapy was only 1.6%, similar to that of hormonal therapy.

Since I was not in menopause, they induced it using goserelin (one injection every 28 days), and I also take letrozole (one pill daily). I’ve been on this treatment for six months now. I’m grateful to have avoided chemotherapy and am focusing on taking care of both my mind and body.
