Hi. I can't remember if I ever responded to you, but my husband passed away on Sunday Feb. 23rd. He was in a good samaritan house which is part of hospice here. He went there last wednesday and passed away on Sunday. but he got the best care in the world there. I know he was comfortable and not suffering when he passed. The visiting hospice nurses knew he was fast declining and they suggested he go there so I drove him there. Best decision of my life. They could give him all the pain meds he needed to stay pain free and comfortable. I also could tell by his behavior before he went that he was getting worse. He was confused, and falling all the time, It was getting hard for me to keep picking him up. He was hardly eating nor was he drinking much. So, he no longer needs any more earthly meds. But thanks for your response.

I am sorry for your loss. I am glad that he received the care that he needed, especially because that has eased you.
