MRI Side effects
Yesterday I had my pre surgery MRI with contrast and this morning I woke up and had a bout of Diarrhea. I looked it up and this is a common side effect. Anyone else have this? I'm set for my PSMA soon.

I had muscle pain for a few days.
Some folks have a reaction to the dye. I've had the contrast MRI a handful of times for various issues and it always makes me very flush and like I've peed myself (also both very common sensations). This time around my tolerance must be getting less because I felt fairly nauseous when the dye went in, it passed after about 15 minutes.
So your surgery is soon then?
Yup as soon as I get the PSMA and some other tests

I’ve had multiple MRIs, but never had a side effect after the fact. They do tell you to drink a lot of water to get rid of that chemical they put in, so they can see what’s going on. Did you drink a lot of water and flush your system?
In addition to what others mentioned, diarrhoea is a very common symptom of stress and anxiety, and this is obviously an anxious time for you (or else you wouldn't be getting the MRI). Something like yoghurt or probiotics might help settle your digestive system
