Hi I'm one year out from surgery and sadly seem to have hit a plateau at 127 lbs I want to lose 23 more at least and have been struggling since December and can't get any weight off-grrrr - met with the Mayo nutritionist yesterday and she said this can happen - did anyone else have this happen? What did you do to get over the hump? I do water aerobics and walk 6 days a week and am thinking of adding beginner Pilates

Here are before and after pics - I cringe when I look at the before - but obviously you can see in the after I still have a ways to go

I used to think this surgery was for the people without discipline who cldnt get the weight off the "right" way and boy was I wrong - this surgery gave me back my life

I think most of us have reach plateaus, and it is hard when so close to goal.
