Diapers day and night

Hi,
I have the same problem as you do. My incontinence has increased a lot. I wear two large Poise pads. I put toilet paper on top of them. That way I only have to change the toilet paper for most of the day. When I do go somewhere I try and drink less liquids but not to the point of being dehydrated. That's a good idea about taking a pad to sit on. I might consider doing that. I have noticed that even with just sitting a while I leak a lot. I have found that it's easier to deal with this if I shop close to my house or a store with a public bathroom; although I hate using public bathrooms! I always carry extra pads in my purse.

There was a procedure for this that I had done some years ago. It worked great! I didn't leak for quite a few years but then it started again. I went back to the same doctor and she said they don't use that procedure anymore. She suggested a couple other procedures but also stated they didn't always work a lot of the time. She said that I might just want to "live with it." So, I am. I'm 78 so I don't have the social life that I had when I was younger and my husband was still alive. I stay home a lot and that makes it easier.

I also pray about this a lot and it seems to have gotten somewhat better. God is always there for us. We just have to ask.
I wish you the best and will say a prayer for you.

I had to chuckle/toilet tissue cause it works for a while. Due to using a walker, oxygen day & night is even more difficult to get around with padding between my legs. Of course extra diapers TENA large is the best fit. Sleeping on my back because of the oxygen is good for a diaper and no leaks. Baby powder each change & vaseline for any red spots. I guess we should be glad we can still pee hahaha and a prayer for you.
