Calcium without Vitamin D.

I wonder if the palpitations come from the calcium channel blocker I take for elevated BP. My calcium and vit D levels are normal. I want more calcium for healthy bones.

I think you are on to something. I just read that people taking calcium channel blockers should not take vitamin D since it can interfere with the blocker.

I searched for calcium supplements without vitamin D, and there are definitely a number to choose from.

@denway91 if your calcium and D levels are normal I wouldn’t take any more calcium, unless your doctor has advised you to do so. Extra calcium might cause other problems. If you are eating foods that have calcium in them as does @njx58, that should be enough.
