I think we need to know just how much vitamin D we're talking about here. My brother takes 10,000 IU once a week, which I think is crazy.

I am not taking vit D....because of the palpitations. I want to take a calcium supplement but don't want the Vit D.

I take 5,000 iu per day and my level is 52 with the "normal" range being 30 to 100. A level of 60 is good.
