denway, the usual way that excess D causes palpitations is by causings excess absorption of Calcium. I'd want to know what else could be causing low calcium with high D.

I think we need to know just how much vitamin D we're talking about here. My brother takes 10,000 IU once a week, which I think is crazy.

I wonder if the palpitations come from the calcium channel blocker I take for elevated BP. My calcium and vit D levels are normal. I want more calcium for healthy bones.
