Hi everyone!
Just had our first PSA test following RP. Undetectable!!
I was ready for the worst. Yes, doc was very clear it will most likely rise (he sobered us up quickly) and we will address it when it does- but the small window of no test for another 3 months allows us to focus on exercising & enjoying life a bit. His recovery has gone extremely well so he seems to be one of the lucky ones thanks to an amazing surgeon.
Thank you to everyone for all the advice. Just wanted to share this update with all of you on this post.
Wishing you all well in your journeys

Very good (but expected) news.
It usually shows up as undetectable the first few times, at least,
He's caught up to me. I'm at the waiting for the next blood test stage, too.
How's the incontinence etc getting on?

Is he on ADT? I was told that even with ADT and Apalutamide, my PSA would start rising again within 18–24 months (I had radiation), but 3½ years after my stage-4 diagnosis, my PSA is still undetectable on the ultrasensitive test (< 0.01).

Fingers crossed it will remain that way at my next quarterly test this Friday. Your husband's experience may be different, but just remember that his future isn't written yet.
