My husband has CIDP and is in a similar state. He was ok and now in a wheelchair and can’t use his hands or legs. Been on IVIG, steroids, plasmapheresis and now rituximab. Please get your sister to a large teaching hospital. We are at both Northwestern and Mayo (we live in Chicago area). Go onto gbs-CIDP.org to find doctors who specialize in this. I feel your frustration and pain and despair with every fiber of my being.
