How do you dial down the dose? I had a severe reaction to my first injection, and when I called the company, my representative said that I should ask the doctor to do a graduated dose to get my body used to the medication. My doctor said she would not do that, and I needed to just use the dose that Was prescribed. I have tried Fosamax, Actonel and Prolia with severe side effects. Prolia caused such severe bone pain I was unable to walk for three months. My bones are so bad. I fractured two vertebrae. Just stretching in bed. Multiple rib fractures toe fracture a wrist fracture and I just have to get my bones repaired so I’m trying really hard to continue to use Tymlos because the doctor said that I would not have the severe bone pain that Paul caused because Prolia such a strong injection so that it last for six months.

As in the other response, listen for the clicks as you dial up to 80mcg. Stop at 4 clicks for 40mcg. My doctor let me drop to that dose when I had severe side effects. Unfortunately, I still had side effects and stopped. I really wanted it to work for me. Now waiting to hear next option.

Have you had Reclast infusions yet? I started with those annually for 3 years before starting Tymlos.
Best wishes. Mel
