Just a quick update. It’s a little over a year since I was diagnosed. Doing scans every three months. So far no evidence of cancer following surgery.
Ostomy still provides a significant improvement in quality of life.

Hi sjd, sorry for your situation but it was the right call to remove both - any of the sarcomas can be deadly.
On another thread we discussed biopsies possibly releasing cancer cells and seeding the bloodstream. Your TURP could have done the same using morcellators used to grind up excised overgrown tissue.
However, this result is extremely rare, as free floating cancer cells have no blood supply to nourish them (as per @retireddoc) and growth would be nearly impossible.
Just get those scans and whatever genetic blood marker tests are necessary. Best of luck
