I'm in the same boat my friend. I've tried all kinds of topical creams, lotions. I'm taking Lyrica 600mg daily and (Xtampza/Oxycodone) 9mg every 8 hours which is a timed release med and it helps some. Some times it makes no difference what I do or what I'm taking the pain is unbearable. There have been times I've been awake for 2 to 3 days because the pain won't allow you to sleep. If you ever find something that help Please Please keep me in mind and I'll will also do the same for you.

Research essential oils for neuropathy relief.

My pain specialist gives me Norco which lasts for 4 hours so I can function. I know it's hard to get an opiod prescription. The only way is through a pain specialist. I would like to get off this drug, but I know my pain would be unbearable. After the surgery on October 17th, I was hoping it would fix the problem, but the pain is the same. My pain specialist said that I could be dealing with new scar tissue. He didn't want me to have the surgery, but the surgeon said it might help. I haven't had an MRI in 2 years, so my pain doctor said to get an order from the surgeon and get a new look at my spine. Now I have to send a message to my surgeon to email me a script. Just more time consuming and more time to wait. This sucks!!
