What is the best supplement to take for feet neuropathy?

I have tried adding Vitamin K2 and B-complex but have not noticed any difference after 2months.

His doctor prescribed 600mg. Is there a point where too much is too much? I'll have to look that up. What other supplements are you taking. All the reading I have been doing, I have pages of different supplements. LOL.

I've been taking several supplements for as long as I can remember. I take a krill oil capsule daily, along with a multivitamin, a B complex pill, glucosamine HCI with MSM, calcium with vitamin D3, and biotin.
I also take an iron supplement every other day as per my doctor. This is on top of 9 prescription medications.

It might help, I take it twice a day because I read it was suppose to help but I would take anything at this point in my life if I thought it would help.
Even my doctor told me they had nothing that would stop neuropathy.
A lot of scams out there believe me I know.

I’ve been taking ALA for almost two years and it has helped me only about 10%.
PN is not going away and all we can do is learn to live with it. At least I’m pain free. I jest have balance issues and weakness.

My doctor suggested that I start taking alpha lipoic acid, along with all the other supplements and medications that I've been taking for several years, and I think it has helped to lessen my nerve pain.

For what it’s worth, three months ago I increased my alpha lipoic acid (ALA)?dose to about 1600 mg (?) per day and it has definitely changed the PN. Changed is the key word, no other supplement has had any impact and I’ve tried many other snake oil supplements. Have had no issues with taking that much ALA but some people do have problems. At least I can now tolerate the PN a little better and that seems like progress. Time will tell.

My husband has tried all the normal meds; gabapentin, pregabaline, etc. He just started Amitriplyline and alpha lipoic acid. Hope they help. Have they helped for you??

I found that gabapentin and amitriptyline helped me get much needed sleep. I needed high dose to stop the burning. I started alpha lipoic acid (R-ALA) 600 mg a few months after, so I am not really sure what helped the most. I am afraid to stop any of them, but I have tried titrating down from the 1800 mg of gabapentin because it was causing tremors. I don't think it hurts to at least try the R-ALA for a few months.

Just a quick thank you for your information about Alpha Lipoic Acid helping with your PN.
I feel like I am the Queen of "trial and error" with so many attempts to ease the PN pain!
I have used ALA, but don't always include it in my daily dose of vitamins and meds. I never noticed a difference in pain relief, but I failed to do it VERY DAY for 3 months! Hmmm, inconsistency is my middle name as of late! Now, I am encouraged to be more uniform.
Okay, I might as well copy your 3 month time trial and dosage as well!
Thanks for really good personal info with what worked for you...time frame and dosage!
OH YA, I know, "what works for you doesn't...bla, bla bla." Worth a try! Thanks!
( I think we all need to be re-encouraged on a regular basis to keep trying for some relief!)
