I agree totally with you. I've never had a flu shot because I had a friend die from Guillain-Barré Syndrome and also because they are only 18% effective in preventing the flu! I developed PMR after my second Pfizer vaccination and will never get another COVID vaccine, or perhaps any other vaccine! I had the old shingles shot years ago and then the new one, Shringrix, came out soon thereafter. I think I will pass on it.

Here in the UK we have what is known as the yellow card system where you can report side-effects from any medications. It’s not well known that this exists but if everybody reported it maybe the manufacturers may be forced to do something about it. There should be a warning when you have the flu shot just the same as when you buy any over-the-counter medication or get a prescription. I am really suffering as a result with my PMR to the point where some days I just don’t want to carry on anymore. All because I was encouraged to have the flu shot for my own health. It sucks
