What is the best supplement to take for feet neuropathy?

For what it’s worth, three months ago I increased my alpha lipoic acid (ALA)?dose to about 1600 mg (?) per day and it has definitely changed the PN. Changed is the key word, no other supplement has had any impact and I’ve tried many other snake oil supplements. Have had no issues with taking that much ALA but some people do have problems. At least I can now tolerate the PN a little better and that seems like progress. Time will tell.

Just a quick thank you for your information about Alpha Lipoic Acid helping with your PN.
I feel like I am the Queen of "trial and error" with so many attempts to ease the PN pain!
I have used ALA, but don't always include it in my daily dose of vitamins and meds. I never noticed a difference in pain relief, but I failed to do it VERY DAY for 3 months! Hmmm, inconsistency is my middle name as of late! Now, I am encouraged to be more uniform.
Okay, I might as well copy your 3 month time trial and dosage as well!
Thanks for really good personal info with what worked for you...time frame and dosage!
OH YA, I know, "what works for you doesn't...bla, bla bla." Worth a try! Thanks!
( I think we all need to be re-encouraged on a regular basis to keep trying for some relief!)

Just curious whether you are using the R version or not. Apparently ALA is not very stable and it's effectiveness can be lessened by eating it too close to meals, heat, oxidative stress. I read that the R version is more stable. There is also a version that includes Biotin. Do you know which one you're using?
