I think all of us here are in a twilight zone. The world situation isn't reassuring, my husband has dementia, and I have this wretched heart. And I've got it easy compared to so many. There's more but this isn't an agony aunt column. Facing such challenges certainly does focus the mind and if you can't laugh, you will surely cry. My heart goes out to everyone. So to speak. Ha.

I understand what you are saying. I can honsetly say I have had it better than a lot of other people (and I am not talking about leaving this world). There are people here and elsewhere whose dissections almost cost them their lives, and they had it rough just to get through.
My mother also has dementia, and I can relate somewhat to support required for our loved ones who have it.
I hope for everyone here, and everyone I meet, that we all stick around much longer - become friends, share some laughs and some tears, and talk things through.
You were one of the first on this fourm that gave me a hug, and I am forever grateful.
