I start carbo/Taxol and immunotherapy on March 10th and have stocked up on scarves. Got one wig but have no idea how to wear it. I thought I would be able to just put it on. Lol. I think I need some sort of band or cap or adhesive to hold it in place though once I get to that point. I am also sick thinking about my hair loss. My hair has been such a big part of my identity so it will definitely be an adjustment. My hair is also greying so when it grows back, if it does, I bet it will be all white! What a change I'm in for. Trying to stay positive but it's hard sometimes and I occasionally break down. Thank you, Denise, for posting and letting us know we are not alone.

Google how to wear wig. How to care for wigs. You can purchase wig bands and wig caps off Amazon. I used a site called head covers to get products. You can also have a hair dresser we ho is comfortable with wigs cut it to suite you.

It sounds like you are mostly planning on wearing scarves and caps. They are more comfortable.

Paula Young is an online wig shop with wigs of all price. I just got one for $70. It's really nice.

My hair is coming back my last treatment was 12/9. My eyelashes and eyebrows are grown in. I shaved my legs this week first time is 6 months. My head hair is full but still so short. Too short for me

I know this sound dump, but have fun with you head covers. I love caring for my wigs. I wear them all day everyday.

Check out Headcovers Unlimited. I found nice scarves and they have a lot of info on how to tie scarves, supplies for wigs etc
