@Windyshores, I also thank you so much for your expertise and experiences and mentioning Keith McCormick as a person who knows OP and could help me figuring out how to move forward with this diagnosis at not too great a cost. And thank you for your many other helpful posts.

Wishing you peace.

Thank you @gently for bringing this to our attention.

We have a wonderful community.

I'm confused. I too have wondered about Windyshores. I don't understand the link you sent. A map?

I too am sad that Windshores is no longer posting. I have only been here since January, but she was immediately willing to help me out with my questions and fears about starting Tymlos.

I wish her much health and healing on her journey, and hope she might return again some day with her incredible wealth of knowledge about osteoporosis.

More than a year ago my OB/GYN sent me for my first DEXA. She told me, "Don't worry, it'll come back with an osteopenia diagnosis like most of my other patients your age. You're doing everything right." Two days later, she called and said, "I can't believe it, You have severe Osteoporosis. Whatever you do, don't fall!" I was panicked.

The first thing I did was look for a book to read. I found Mayo Clinic on Osteoporosis: Keep your bones strong and reduce your risk of fractures. In it I found a reference for Mayo Clinic Connect. Then I happened upon Windyshores...a voice of calm. Dare I say a port in a storm? I also found many other voices here...ones who also supply references, research-based information, and options.

I am so appreciative of all those voices. With all my heart I thank all of you, and with all my heart, I hope to "hear" from Windyshores again.
