The best comment I have ever heard about grief is: "Grief is like a heavy backpack. It doesn't get any lighter, but you get better at carrying it." -Ricky Gervais. I have found this to be true. You will never get over losing your beloved wife and the pain of losing her, but you will get stronger as life goes on without her. There will be a time when you can look back with sweet memories of her, even though it may hurt. I am so very, very sorry for your loss.

@judychurch How true and thank you! I do believe the comment about the backpack is absolutely correct. I also believe in life, at times, we wonder what it would be like if this happens or that happens. We really don't know until it does, and then you find it is beyond what you ever imagined. I am so thankful for my strong family support.
