Hi! Anyone else out there have a reverse total shoulder?? I haven’t felt normal since having this done. Well over a year of therapy. Motion is good however I have pain s as ol around shoulder area into neck. MRI shows some neck stenosis so injection done in that area and they figure this will get rid of my pain. Still waiting - just been a bit over a week. No change really. Surgeon thinks it’s my petite stature ?! Not sure. Shouldn’t I feel good by now??? Thanks and God bless!!

It me a year to recover and I did PT for nearly as long. RA complicated my recovery. I had daily fevers and was sent to a specialist at Emory to evaluate for infection and replacement. The consensus was that I had been off my immunosuppressant meds so long that my RA was in overdrive elevating inflammation that resulted in the fevers. PT was also affected by the inflammation and the hypermobile joint issue. It was honestly a long and painful process but I can now say that my pre-op intolerable pain of 8 daily is much better with just occasional bouts of level 5.
