Frequent tremors as one of the side effects from Zytiga and prednisone

My 85 husband is having falls brought on, we believe from the effects of the frequent tremors that cause sudden weakness in his legs, arms and hands. Is this normal, or should we look elsewhere for help?
I worry about him getting seriously hurt.
He currently takes Zytiga and prednisone after having had prostate radiation in Sept. 2024.

I had radiation/ Arbiterone/ prednisone- for 25 months. Never had these issues as I m only 76 now= age could be an issue here.

Isn’t you husband also on Lupron, Eligard or Orgovyx? It would be unusual to be on Zytiga and prednisone alone.

Those drugs are pretty hard on the body. You might have your husband ask the doctor about switching over to Darolutamide instead of Zytiga and prednisone. At his age, it shuld not be a problem, And Darolutamide has fewer side effects. I am not a doctor, but I switched from Zytiga to Darolutamide And it’s been a lot better for me And many other people that I know.

The problems he is having are not normal. Have you been keeping up with his blood pressure? Zytiga is very hard on the heart and causes many people high blood pressure, including me.

@coopkarn417, this must be frightening for you that you husband could fall without warning. Have you and your husband told his oncologist about the tremors and fall risk?
