Good find Colleen. A few viruses have been implicated in cancer via oncogenesis.
Hijacking a cell’s DNA, inserting a piece of your own and then replicating copies of these defective cells is the standard playbook.

Also, didn’t mean to imply that only women were affected by performing oral sex. Believe it or not, back in the day many men thought that “doing that” to a woman labeled them as a pervert; so many of our parents and grandparents were unscathed.
Obviously we no longer feel that way and rates of oral and throat cancer in males have skyrocketed. However, it is still much more treatable than OC caused by the deadly combination of alcohol and cigarettes; that baby just keeps coming back….
