My experience with using marijuana for my lumbar spinal stenosis....I grow my own plant (I live in B.C.!) and as neither of us smoke, I extract the bud in coconut oil. I was taking some every night but the fat upset me, so now I make rice krispie bars. I use only known varieties, and my favourite is Dutch Treat from Crop King. It is 8% CBD and 4% THC. I tried a variety that is 21% CBD and just 1/2% THC. It didn't work at all! I had to bum some straight THC from a friend and add it to my bud. I've been too cautious with using the marijuana, but as my pain is increasing, I'm experimenting with taking more at night. I'd like to hear from others who have used different strains for chronic pain, and their experiences.

I have been using a cannabis topical for peripheral neuropathy since November 2024. 10% thc in coconut oil. The results are amazing. I get relief from pain and swelling utilizing the topical twice daily. For generalized pain I take edibles, indica as needed and get great results. Closest relief to opioid. If you are in a state where marijuana is legal or available for medical use I highly recommend that you give it a try
